fashion4home carefully chooses its production partners in Eastern Europe and Asia according to strict criteria. Almost all our producers are already manufacturing for renowned brands in Europe and the U.S. This means that our furniture is manufactured in the same places, and to the same high standards, as many name-brand luxury items - the only real difference is incredibly low-prices we offer.

In an effort to increase customer satisfaction and to optimize our own strict manufacturing criteria, we have introduced an ISO 9000 quality control system which will ensure that our products meet both U.S. and European standards. We pride ourselves on selecting material which not only looks and feels good, but also meets internationally recognized safety standards.

Our manufacturing sites are not only subject to stringent quality control, but we have also put checks and balances in place to ensure that social, labor-related, and environmental standards are also being met. Our quality control teams reserve the right to inspect any manufacturing plant at any given time so that we can make sure that our furniture is being produced under fair conditions.Our quality management team tests each and every single design item, as well as the materials and manufacturing methods applied before, during, and after each line goes into production. Wooden Furniture

Almost all our wooden items are given a fine veneer finishing. Each veneer, as with all natural products, may vary slightly in color and grain. This lends each product unique character.

Glass

For safety reasons, all our glass tables are made of tempered glass. The colored glass tops are also fade-resistant with expertly rounded edges for maximum safety.

Metal Parts

Our metal parts meet the highest quality standards with very little impurities. That means that they are easier to craft into special designs and have a reduced corrosion risk.

Upholstered Furniture

We do everything possible to ensure first-class seating comfort for all our upholstered furniture items. For this reason, we only use highly elastic foam for our upholstery or cushions. It is durable, long-lasting and offers maximum comfort. Our back cushions are filled with flaked foam and feathers, which are sewn into long pockets to make them tenable and help them maintain their form. Each sofa needs a little time to settle in and will be somewhat stiff the first few weeks it is in your home. The cushions gain their form by use, and after a little time, they will start to feel even more comfortable while remaining firm and supportive for years to come.

Leather and Textile Leather Covers

We guarantee that there are no color differences between the different pieces of furniture contained in one order. That is, all the items were ordered at the same time and belong to the same order. Leather and fabrics expand slightly with use. To ensure first-class comfort, covers are not fastened too tightly. Each cover may show a certain amount of creasing with use - which gives every piece a unique look.

Our genuine leather sofas are made of specially treated buffalo or cowhide to give a surprisingly smooth surface. Our leather is easy to clean and keeps its appealing look for years. That is why our leather sofas are especially recommended for households with kids or pets. All the fabrics used for our wide range of products are chosen with the utmost care to guarantee a long lifespan as well as practical benefits. The majority of our furniture covers are tested by internationally renowned institutes like the TÜV Süd, TÜV Rheinland or SGS.

Environmental Issues

We do our utmost best to keep environmental pollution of our production lines to a minimum. That is why we are constantly aiming at improving and fine-tuning our manufacturing processes. In recognition of the high standards we demand, our manufacturing plants have been awarded with the internationally recognized CE (European Union) and TÜV (German safety-standard association) certifications.
• Since the varnish used on our furniture is UV resistant, we have been able to substantially reduce the use of dissolver in the manufacturing process.
• Our cabinet furniture meets the E1 norm regulations in respect of formaldehyde emissions.
